| Jantti is inspired by quotes and writings from various spiritual masters as well as by the every day insights of friends, family or passer-biers on the street. Through words and images, Jantti tries to share these messages with you. We do not come from a position of mastery, but of sharing and discovery. Whether our words resonate as new or simply echo your own, this is a company whose purpose is to put a smile on your face and offer a gift to the heart. | Our suede patch with the ancient, middle eastern Hamsa or Hamesh is sewn onto every garment. This hand shaped amulet has historically been used to protect against the “evil eye” or negative energy. We see it as a way of symbolizing the continuous spiritual presence in all of our lives. |

| The Venus of Willendorf is an important symbol for Jantti. The Venus dates back as far as about 24,000 BCE and is the original fertility goddess. We take the meaning of this fertile figurine one step further and see her as representing the potential in ourselves. She serves as a reminder of all that is possible in our lives as well as in our dreams. |

| The name JANTTI is made up from the initials of Elizabeth’s three children, who certainly represent the most powerful inspiration in her life. Through various designs and messages, Jantti tries to remind us of who we really are. We love what we do and hope you do too! |

| Elizabeth was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, holds a Masters Degree in Art Therapy from the Art Institute of Chicago, and recently completed a three-year intensive program at Caroln Myss’ CMED Institute. Art and creative expression permeate every aspect of Elizabeth’s life. Elizabeth’s work reflects her spirituality and personal philosophy. The messages and designs she creates serve as visual representations of her passion and zest for life. Elizabeth currently resides in the Chicago area with her three children. |
